💛 About Tina
Hi, I’m Tina!
I’m the home cook behind Trusting Your Taste Buds With Tina.
Most days, you’ll find me in the kitchen testing recipes, adjusting measurements, and asking the most important question: Does it taste good?
How It Started:
I began baking with whole wheat flour because I wanted something a little more wholesome and with more fiber for my family. But it was hard to find many recipes online that used whole wheat flour. So I started experimenting. I researched and tested. I wrote everything down. And slowly, I started creating whole wheat recipes that were soft, flavorful, and genuinely craveable. That’s how this blog was born.
I believe:
-
Healthy food shouldn’t feel restrictive.
-
Whole wheat doesn’t have to mean heavy.
-
Flavor always comes first.
-
Real kitchens don’t need perfection.
-
Your taste buds are smarter than trends.
I don’t follow food rules just for the sake of it. I create recipes that feel balanced, practical, and satisfying for real life. If my family goes back for seconds, I know it’s a keeper.
On this site, you’ll find some recipes that focus on whole wheat and some that focus on simple, healthy meals.
I cook for a family. That means:
-
Meals need to be practical.
-
Ingredients need to be accessible.
-
Recipes need to work.
I share recipes that fit into busy days, school schedules, and real-life kitchens — not just perfectly styled photos.
Because cooking at home should feel doable.
