Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Makes 2 loaves
Ingredients:
· 3 cups of whole wheat flour
· 1 cup of white sugar
· 3 eggs
· 4 bananas, peeled and mashed
· 1/2 cup of milk
· 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
· 1/2 cup of oil
· 1/4 tablespoon of salt
· 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
In a large bowl mix the flour, salt and baking powder.
In another large bowl, combine the eggs, oil, bananas, sugar, and milk. Then slowly blend the flour mixture into the banana mixture.
Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
After it is blended, put it in the fridge for at least one hour.
After the batter has been refrigerated for an hour, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put the batter into two greased loaf pans. The loaf pans should be around three-fourths full.
Bake the banana bread for about 1 hour.
When the banana bread is done, remove it from the oven. The banana bread will be done when a toothpick comes out clean.
