Apple BBQ Ribs
Makes about 4 servings
Ingredients:
· One slab of pork ribs (about 2 LBS)
· 3/4 cup of BBQ Sauce
· 1 cup of apple juice
· About 4 cups of water (maybe more)
Directions:
1. Remove the membrane from the underside of the pork ribs. (Not required but highly recommended)
2. Cut the rib slab into single ribs. You can use a knife or a pair of sharp kitchen scissors.
3. In a medium or large crock pot, add the ribs. Then pour the BBQ sauce over the ribs. Next add the apple juice. Lastly, add water until the ribs are covered in liquid.
4. Put the crockpot on high for 1 hour
5. After one hour, cook the ribs on low for another 4 hours.
6. After the ribs are cooked, remove from the crockpot. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy
